Breaking Agreements That Block the Promise
Living an Ephesians 3:20 Lifestyle Requires Breaking Agreements, Healing Patterns, and Walking in Authority
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” — Ephesians 3:20
We are in a window season. A season where God is releasing opportunity, access, elevation, restoration, and yes — provision and wealth.
But windows are timed, not permanent. And Scripture shows us that before God releases increase, He prepares the vessel.
Many people are praying for doors to open, while God is asking for agreements to be broken.
Agreements with fear. Agreements with trauma. Agreements with sin. Agreements with bloodline patterns. Agreements with other kingdoms.
“Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” — Matthew 18:18
This means heaven responds to alignment, not intention. What you tolerate on earth has permission in the spirit. What you renounce on earth loses authority.
To live an Ephesians 3:20 lifestyle, we must understand the spiritual systems we came into agreement with — and intentionally disconnect.
Agreements, Authority, and Why Things Repeat
An agreement is anything you repeatedly say yes to with:
your body
your thoughts
your emotions
your habits
your silence
Agreements produce patterns.
“You will know them by their fruit.” — Matthew 7:16
Many believers love God deeply but are still bound because forgiveness removed guilt, not agreement.
Jesus didn’t just forgive sin — He gave authority.
“I give you authority… over all the power of the enemy.” — Luke 10:19
Authority must be used.
Spiritual Attachments That Must Be Disconnected
Each spirit below includes:
how it operates
how it enters
what it produces
why it blocks promise
Breaking them will be addressed at the end.
1. Spirit of Lust & Seduction (Porn, Fantasy, Sexual Compromise)
This spirit is not just about sex — it is about false comfort and counterfeit intimacy.
How it enters
early exposure
rejection or abandonment
trauma
loneliness
stress coping
How it shows up
pornography
masturbation tied to stress
fantasy and mental lust
secret conversations
emotional affairs
craving attention or validation
What it produces
dulled discernment
weakened prayer life
shame cycles
difficulty with discipline
broken intimacy in marriage
Why it blocks the window
Because it trains the soul to seek relief instead of righteousness, which weakens spiritual authority.
“Flee sexual immorality.” — 1 Corinthians 6:18 “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.”— Matthew 5:8
2. Jezebel Spirit (Control, Manipulation, and Religious Authority)
Jezebel is widely misunderstood. It is not just adultery. It is a spirit of control that resists God’s order and silences truth.
“You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet.” — Revelation 2:20
How it shows up personally
emotional manipulation
domination
seduction for influence
refusal to submit or repent
How it shows up in the church
control disguised as spiritual authority
silencing questions or discernment
fear-based leadership
protecting image over integrity
intimidating prophetic voices
What it produces
confusion
fear
burnout
stagnation
Why it blocks the window
God will not elevate people still controlled by fear of man.
“God is not the author of confusion.” — 1 Corinthians 14:33
3. Delilah Assignments (Draining Relationships)
Delilah represents relationships that access your strength but weaken your purpose.
How it shows up
distractions disguised as love
people who normalize compromise
emotional dependence
repeated cycles with no fruit
What it produces
loss of discipline
delayed obedience
emotional exhaustion
“Bad company corrupts good character.” — 1 Corinthians 15:33
4. Leviathan Spirit (Twisting Communication & Pride)
This spirit twists words and fuels offense.
How it shows up
constant misunderstandings
defensiveness
pride
inability to apologize
What it produces
division
broken relationships
isolation
“Where pride is, there is strife.” — Proverbs 13:10
5. Python Spirit (Spiritual Suffocation)
This spirit constricts prayer and joy.
How it shows up
heaviness during prayer
distraction
spiritual fatigue
depression
What it produces
burnout
numbness
withdrawal
“The Spirit helps us in our weakness.” — Romans 8:26
6. Spirit of Fear, Delay, and Procrastination
Fear often disguises itself as logic.
How it shows up
procrastination
perfectionism
overthinking
hiding gifts
What it produces
missed opportunities
frustration
stagnation
“God has not given us a spirit of fear.” — 2 Timothy 1:7
7. Settling for Safety Instead of Obedience
This spirit convinces people to choose comfort over calling.
How it shows up
staying where God said leave
shrinking dreams
choosing security over faith
What it produces
resentment
lack of fulfillment
delayed promise
“We walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7
8. Spirit of Heaviness (Grief, Depression, Emotional Weight)
This spirit settles where grief is unprocessed.
How it shows up
persistent sadness
loss of joy
emotional numbness
What it produces
hopelessness
withdrawal
loss of vision
“A garment of praise instead of a spirit of heaviness.” — Isaiah 61:3
9. Womb Trauma & Molech (Sacrifice Under Pressure)
This spirit represents sacrifice driven by fear, pressure, or survival.
“You shall not give your children to Molech.” — Leviticus 18:21
How it shows up today
abortion under pressure
unresolved grief
shame
emotional numbness
fear of motherhood
self-sabotage
What it produces
spiritual disconnect
depression
deep unhealed sorrow
Why it blocks the window
Unhealed womb trauma affects identity, creativity, and legacy.
“He heals the brokenhearted.” — Psalm 147:3
10. Bloodline Patterning & Generational Cycles
Some struggles are not personal — they are inherited patterns.
Common cycles
incarceration
chronic debt
addiction
abuse
sickness
“The iniquity of the fathers…” — Exodus 20:5
“If anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17
11. Soul Ties & the Single Season
Soul ties are spiritual and emotional bonds formed through intimacy.
Effects
emotional confusion
comparison
repeated relationship cycles
“The two shall become one flesh.” — Genesis 2:24
Singleness is preparation, not punishment.
“Seek first the Kingdom of God.” — Matthew 6:33
HOW TO BREAK AGREEMENTS (ONE CLEAR PROCESS)
1. Repent (Turn)
Repentance closes the door.
“Repent and turn, that times of refreshing may come.” — Acts 3:19
2. Renounce (Break Agreement)
Say it out loud.
“I renounce every agreement with fear, lust, control, heaviness, trauma, and compromise.”
3. Fast (Uproot)
“This kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” — Matthew 17:21
Fasting weakens flesh and strengthens authority.
4. Refill (Replace)
“Be filled with the Spirit.” — Ephesians 5:18
Replace old patterns with:
prayer
scripture
discipline
obedience
5. Be Patient With the Mind
Your memory and thoughts may not clear immediately.
That does not mean freedom didn’t happen.
“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
— Romans 12:2
Thoughts are habits.
Habits take time to rewire.
Pray over mind patterning, not just behavior.
Declaration
I loose what must be loosed. I bind what must be bound. I break agreement with other kingdoms. I step into my Ephesians 3:20 window.
“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” — Joshua 24:15
